I knew at a young age that I wanted to work in the field of investments (or be a race car driver… or a fighter pilot). I’ve always liked numbers and I derive a great deal of satisfaction by working with people, so my role of Wealth Advisor is a perfect fit for me.
I started my investment career in 1995, a few years after earning my Finance degree from the University of Utah. My career path has involved work in accounting, insurance, operations, management, and investments. In addition to my decades worth of experience, I have earned both the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) designations.
In the fall of 2002, I was managing a back-office mutual fund team at Charles Schwab when I was introduced to Judy Martin. She offered me a job and the opportunity to move back to my hometown of Park City. About 5 years later Judy and I formed The Martin Worley Group and I am now the Managing Partner.
A fascination with investments is what brought me into this industry, but it’s the relationship with our clients and my coworkers that keeps me motivated and fulfilled.
My wife Shelley and I still live in Park City, and our three grown sons are in the exciting phase of starting their own careers and families. I have a serious appreciation for the outdoors and love skiing, hiking, and biking. I also enjoy cooking and traveling…especially when we can get away in our camper trailer.
